Tequila Ocho Plata

Tequilla Ocho Plata is produced by Tequila Ocho – an Arandas, Jalisco based brand founded in 2008 by Carlos Camarena and Tomas Estes. Their tequilas are produced using a slow, handmade process. Each agave plant is grown for 7-10 years before being hand harvested by jimadores, slow cooked in brick ovens, and crushed with a roller mill. The juice is fermented in wooden vats using airborne yeast, before being distilled twice in pot stills at low temperatures. This particular bottle of Plata tequila is unaged. Joto Junmai Sake is produced by Eiko Fuji Brewery – a 13th generation family-run sake producer in Tsuruoka City, Yamagata, Japan. As a brand, Joto produces a variety of liquor products including sake, umeshu, and more. This particular bottle of Junmai “The Green One” Sake uses a Dewa-No-Sato variety of rice, with a polishing ratio of 80%.
