Pravda Vodka is produced by Pravda – a Poland-based brand that produces handcrafted rye vodka. Made using sweet rye grain and spring water from the Carpathian Mountain Reserve, Pravda Vodka undergoes a thorough 5-step distillation process in column stills. They take special pride in the next step, which involves a uniquely designed copper still that claims to result in an extra fine and gentle flavor. Mijenta Blanco Tequila is produced by Mijenta Tequila, an Arandas-based tequila brand co-founded in 2020 by Mike Dolan, Juan Coronado, Elise Som, and Ana María Romero (the master distiller). Created at Casa Tequilera de Arandas in Arandas, Jalisco, Mijenta boasts a fully carbon neutral production process. They are also the first B-corp certified tequila brand as of late 2022. The agave is grown in a red clay soil that is rich in minerals such as iron and lime – which adds to the sense of “terrior” in the flavor. Meili Vodka is produced by Meili Spirits, a celebrity vodka brand owned by Jason Mamoa and Blaine Valvorson. Based in Bozeman, Montana, Meili is created with locally sourced grains and pure, unprocessed spring water from an alpine aquifer. They own the family-run farms that produce their grains, which are strategically located close to the distillery for a lower carbon footprint. As much as I love mixing up a tasty drink, every once in a while it’s nice to take the easy road and grab a pre-made cocktail.
