Don Diego Santa Añejo Tequila is produced by Tequila Don Diego Santa, a brand created by a Spanish, family-owned company with a background in wine-making. In the late 20th century, the family set their eyes on Mexico and began crafting their own tequilas at the Destilería Río de Plata in Guadalajara, Jalisco. All of their tequilas use hand-made techniques and are produced in small batches using a very time […]
Suntory, the legendary Japanese distillery, has long history of crafting fine spirits and Roku Gin is one of their newest releases. This gin is meant to celeberate the beauty of Japan and includes different elements from Japanese environment and culture.
“Roku” means six in Japanese and refers to the six Japanese botanicals in the gin. They’re all sourced from Japan and harvested from each of the four seasons. Sakura flower and leaf from spring, sencha tea and gyokuro tea from summer, sancho pepper from fall and yuzu peel from winter. There are eight in the recipe including juniper berries and bitter orange peel.
Roku is also sold in a […]

Gray Whale Gin is made by Golden State Distillery in Sebastopol, California. Marsh and Jan Mokhtari started the distillery in 2016 with intentions of creating a spirit that celebrates the […]

New Amsterdam is produced by E&J Gallo in Modesto, CA, who are more commonly associated with their delicious wines (I’m a bit of a Barefoot fangirl, not gonna lie). This company was originally founded in 1933, and over time has begun producing many different brands.
The Original […]
